The Alligator Point / Saint Teresa Volunteer Fire Department is an all-volunteer fire department that serves and protects the Alligator Point, Saint Teresa, and Summer Camp communities. Our mission is to protect the lives and property of our citizens and offer fire and life safety education to the public. Our dedicated volunteer team is committed to keeping our communities safe.

The Alligator Point Saint Teresa Volunteer Fire Department has a large and rather unique response territory. Composed of both small and large residential structures, commercial structures, state and federal lands and both Hwy 98 & 319, our volunteers must be ready to respond to every type of emergency from fires and car wrecks to water rescues and hazardous materials situations.

The Alligator Point Saint Teresa Volunteer Fire Department prides itself on its ability to deliver top-notch training to its members and the community we serve. Our training unit is composed of State certified Fire, EVOC, and BLS instructors providing trainings at no cost to the department or its members.

Alligator Point Saint Teresa Volunteer Fire Department plays a crucial role in Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Education in the community. From hands on training with fire extinguishers for homeowners, fire prevention education to youth of all ages, and commercial pre-fire plans for businesses. The APSTVFD is dedicated to community safety.

The Alligator Point Saint Teresa Volunteer Fire Department is a continuously growing organization thus making it a necessity to continuously outfit our responders and department with the newest gear and equipment. The APSTVFD has achieved many milestones in recent years such as the completion of our new Station 1, new gear for certified firefighters, and new fire engine.
